Dave Mustaine diagnosed with throat cancer

Megadeth singer Dave Mustaine announced this morning that he has been diagnosed with throat cancer.

Mustaine says that he has already begun treatment and his doctors believe his treatment plan has a 90% success rate.

The 2019 Megacruise is still set to happen and Mustaine says that the band will participate “in some form.”

The band is in the studio currently working on a new album, a follow up to Dystopia.
